日新版教科書劃入爭議領土 南韓譴責

日本文部科學省今天(18日)公布高中教科書審定結果，書中將竹島(韓國稱獨島)列為日本固有領土，南韓政府隨即表達抗議。

南韓外交部在一份聲明中表示，「我們強烈譴責日本當局通過的中學教科書中含有扭曲史實的內容，包括不當主張擁有我國的領土。」

竹島(獨島)位於東海(日本海)上，大約介於南韓與日本的中間點。

聲明指出，「日本政府必須瞭解教導正確歷史是種責任，不僅是為了他們的下一代，同時也是為了曾遭日本侵略的鄰國。」聲明中也敦促日本修訂相關內容。

南韓與日本在去年底已針對數十年來的慰安婦爭議達成協議。日方除了表達「由衷歉意」，並承諾撥款10億日圓(約830萬美元)，提供給南韓政府為慰安婦成立的救助基金。

根據韓國聯合通訊社(Yonhap)報導，新版教科書中對慰安婦議題採取逃避責任的態度。韓國外交部東北亞局局長鄭炳元下午將召見日本駐韓使館人員表達抗議。
